Terms of Service
Effective date: 31 October 2026 · Last updated: 31 October 2026
About these terms
These terms govern your use of Certi.parts, published by Sico Software Ltd ("we", "us", "Sico Software"), a company registered in Scotland. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What Certi.parts does
Certi.parts is a workspace for agreeing specifications, recording production evidence and sharing signed job records between manufacturers and their customers.
It is not a certification body, an inspection service or a regulator. A signature shows a record is intact, not that a part conforms or that its measurements are true. Using Certi.parts does not certify your organization or replace your own inspection and quality decisions.
We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or continued availability of the service.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to use Certi.parts. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Acceptable use
You must not use Certi.parts to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or subscription restrictions
- Use the service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with the service's operation
Intellectual property
Certi.parts's software, design, and interface are owned by Sico Software Ltd. You retain ownership of any content you upload. You grant Sico Software a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Scots law, Sico Software's total liability for any claim arising from use of Certi.parts is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or £100. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or economic loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@sico.software. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
